VI COMMANDO

Maj. J.G. “Chips” Heron MC, formerly of the Royal Marines and No.5 Commando (from 1940), served the Troop Commaning Officer of No.3 Troop from 19^th July 1945 following the transfer of Capt. D. Stalker to No.4 Commando for the purposes of occupation operations in Germany.
